Who runs this site

talalkhawaja.com is the personal site of Talal Khawaja. Commercial work runs through Teqprotech. You can reach us at info@teqprotech.com.

Contact form

When you send the contact form, the site receives what you type: your name, your email address and your message. To protect the form from spam it also stores a one-way hash of your IP address, your browser’s user-agent string, the page you came from and how long the form took to fill in. Messages go to the business mailbox and are stored in the site database so they can be read and answered.

Browsing the site without using the form does not ask you for personal details.

Cookies

The site sets a session cookie and a security token used to protect the contact form. Analytics cookies are described under Analytics.

Analytics

To see which pages are useful and where the site can be improved, this site uses Google Analytics 4. These scripts are not part of the page itself: they load only after you first interact with the page (scroll, tap, click or press a key) or, if you don’t, a few seconds after the page has finished loading.

Browser privacy signals are honoured. If your browser sends Global Privacy Control or Do Not Track, none of these scripts load and no events are sent.

Google Analytics 4

Provided by Google. It sets first-party cookies on this domain (_ga and _ga_…) to tell visits apart. Google signals and ad personalisation are turned off, and advertising storage is denied. Google Analytics 4 does not log or store IP addresses. Event-level data is kept for 14 months.

What is measured

Besides page views, the site records these interactions:

• that the contact form was sent successfully (only that it happened and which form, never what you wrote);
• clicks on email links (not the address);
• clicks on links to other websites: the destination’s domain name, the platform for profiles such as GitHub, LinkedIn, Devpost or lablab.ai, and whether the link was a profile, a hackathon entry or a code repository;
• opening a project or case study page;
• résumé downloads;
• searches in the project library (the search term, the number of results and which result was opened);
• reading an article: reaching about three quarters of it, or having it on screen for 30 seconds.

These events never include form contents or email addresses.
