How I use PHP
PHP is the language I've written the most of. It sits under nearly all of my client work: Laravel applications, CodeIgniter projects and WordPress customisation. That runs from freelance work in 2020, through full-stack roles at Nanosoft Technologies and Firmsols, to Teqprotech today.
Where it shows publicly:
- The Gadget Index is a production review and index site on PHP 8.4 and MariaDB. It deploys from GitHub Actions to cPanel, with backups and cron jobs, and that deploy pattern later became the template for this site.
- The referral and payments dashboard is a PHP and Bootstrap dashboard for balances, payments, referrals and transaction history.
- Every Laravel project is PHP underneath.
Most of my PHP runs on shared or cPanel hosting. That's taught me to care about the parts tutorials skip: file ownership, inode limits, OPcache and realpath caches, and deploys that can roll back cleanly. I learned those from production, not from a course.
Evidence level: strong, from verified roles and production code I run.
